The Show Must Go On

Somethings remind me to one Japan dorama with title One Litre of Tears, which is highly recommended by me. It’s based on true story of a Japanese woman who get spinocerebellar degeneration(SCD) less than a year after enrolling in her high school. This disease will damage your neuron little by little and cause your death in the end. Why do I recommend this drama? You can see how much this girl struggle to accept the disease while being cheerful in her life. You can get more information about the drama here.

We often face some serious issues around our life, which are truly absorbed our strength. After finishing these types of issues, we’ll feel like our life spirit has reduced ten fold, that’s when we need additional strength to stand up for nth time to face another. Issues, troubles, and many other sad things will always come to our life in repetition. They won’t end until our life end by itself. When those times come, what do you do to fix this?

I believe that all of us have some special person to help us stand when we need strength. Either family, friends, or any other people can be those important people. By sharing our trouble with them, or even only by remembering those people, we’ll gain unbelievable strength. Those people smile and happiness which is really important for us, will be one of many other reasons to hold on and keep going.

We can also hear so many songs which lyrics represent to the strength we need when breaking down. For example you raise me up by josh groban, mariah carey hero, a goose’s dream – korean pop song which is become popular because of Dream High drama, Jason Mraz – I won’t give up, Lady Antebellum – Someday you will,  for Muslim we have InsyaAllah by Maher Zain, and many more. Listening to these types of song made us realize that we’ve been in this world with specific missions given to us by God, while completing one by one you’ll face many types of hardships.

While having those two methods, I thing the most effective way to gain strength is to look after people who have many ‘disadvantages’ than us. I have to give mark in the disadvantages part because they maybe disadvantages for us, but not for them who have it. If you still wondering what kind of disadvantages I talk about here, disadvantages can mean disabilities, incurable diseases, finance in competencies, etc. How can they make us gain strength? We should remember that we have been better than them in each aspect, while they do they best to cover up their disabilities and be success, we shouldn’t get lost to them as we’ve better. Do your best, gain strength, for them also. You’ll be happy. See the drama above if you want to know how they try their best not to ever give up.

The only thing I need to remind myself over and over is, there must be a good thing which will be happen to me after each of these issues pass. It can be knowledge, new experience, we can be stronger, or others. We should know that God is always there beside us, which is the most important thing to hold on when you get lost. God loves us more than we love ourselves. He lets those issues happen so that we can gain another good thing in ourselves.

I think that’s it for now, I need to update this post if I have other methods to do when needing strength. You can also share your method here, of course. We need to help each other, right?

Being A Good Person

Hi there~

Meet again with me in my latest post this middle September 2013 ^^ Actually I wonder what post should I write today because I have objective myself to make at least one post in maximum three days time ><

While wondering, I remember about a term called “good person”. U want to listen the song related with good person? As Super Junior fan alias ELF, I should direct you to listen to their song in 4jib, Good Person by Super Junior below (free promotion intention attached):

While listening to the song, can you share your opinion about good person?

What is good person? How a person can have title as ‘good person’?

Again, I need to remind you that I actually just try sharing all my thought here without any intention to judge, teach, or something similar with superiority term at all. I’ve been trying to be a good person too, and in my opinion, being a good person is a whole life time learning process. A person can be a good person in short amount of time only, that’s why being a good person is a whole life time learning process.

The people surround me are people who like to judge other people accidentally, like when bad things happen in others life, or when others get trouble, when others achieve something good, etc. People tend to forget that they only know others in that sort amount of time and judge them without realizing that their judgement can hurt others too. Well, from this explanation I would like to give my first requirement to be titled as “good person” by me myself: A person shouldn’t mind others business too much which can cause in judging others harshly. People tend to forget to take the mirror in front of themselves first before bringing the mirror to every one else. There is this one Indonesian proverb which I like a lot -> “Semut di seberang lautan tampak,gajah di pelupuk mata tidak tampak” which means people can easily find others fault while forgetting their own fault. A good person usually try not to judge others when they are in bad position. He will try his hardest to understand why do these people get in bad position.

And then~, parents. What term you can come up with when hearing about parents? Obedient, authority, the most important thing in your life? I’ll give this question to you because we’re not going to talk about this term for now. Parent will have the most important role in bringing up the person to be a ‘good person’. Why parents? Because parents will be the only people who create their son/daughter’s personality, most of the time. Usually, people who have good parents will grow as a good person. So parent’s role will be the second requirement to be a ‘good person’. And the third is, the complimentary of parent’s role, good person will always think of his/her parent first before anything else come up in mind. Of course, these two requirement will be invalid if a person growing up in broken family or without his parent’s love.

Environment when growing up should be good to, in order to be a good person. This will be my fourth requirement. It kinds of impossible for people who grow up in bad environment to be good people later. It’s impossible because people usually act similar as their environment. What their environment show is what people in that specific environment understand as good thing, so there is no need for people in it to look for the truth whether what they’ve been doing these times are good things or not. But of course, as absurd as it sounds, people who grow up in bad environment also can be a good person. Usually these types of people have their own good role model so they can grow up good.

Just be a good person, will be the fifth requirement from me. Why this term? A good person won’t mind other business so much except when people ask their opinion or help. Good person will only try to be a good person in everything he does, in order not to hurt others. He only has good intention in mind when doing every activities he needs to do. I think this is the most important requirement to be a good person though, because how a people can be a good person should be explained by science and social knowledge. Growing to be a good person is a long way to explain only by experience or intention to share, and definitely it’s out of my league too.

All my requirements above aren’t placed as the most important and least important by number, okay~? *read: exception for be a good person part 😛

People who entitled as ‘good person’ will be loved by others. When they depart from this world, many people around them will be lost. They will be remembered by those who are left behind as a good person. There is no need for people to do some significant good things to be entitled as ‘good person’. They really only need to be a ‘good person’ in doing all activities.

All in all, being a good person is a choice which every body can take of course. Being a good person is not easy, but in other way it is not impossible. I believe that all of the people in this world have their affection to others by heart, they just being ignored so there are many heartless people in this world. How I wish to see all people going back to their true nature, that is being a good person (not forget to fighting my self, to be a good person of course). Let’s fight together?

IT Project Proposal

Oh well, while opening the files of my previous material when I was still university student, I found this material and it’s interesting. I think I want to share a lil bit about this matter, before my knowledge become forgettable again so.. I wish that this sharing again, can be useful for anyone who read this.

I reopen this matter because one of my friend ask me to make his project proposal while I definitely forget what the content covering the proposal. Just can remember a bit that there is of course a background, purpose, issue, but I completely forget that I ever learnt it before and of course, there were some additional parts that should be included in project proposal. Oh I forget, I talk about IT project proposal here friends~

Well, I got the material when I learnt about ITPM. It was really interesting and my lecturer was a completely clever man. He wasn’t going to give his explanation at all before we learnt the book by our own self. Such a great methods for me because that way I read my book well.. Reminiscence was such a good thing~

Following is the draft of project proposal which you can see clearly:

Ok let’s start. As I learn, there will be 2 main parts of the proposal. First is of course introduction which contains background, issues, purposes, existing and envisioned system. The second is feasibility study which contains executive summary, audience impacted, financial obligation, recommended action, general description of project which contains requirement project, project border, license, used technology, member project qualifications, member project contract, steps in making the project, WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), ganchart, project budget, issues which cause project budget to be increased. I know that it seems really complicated when you make the proposal as complete as the mentioned draft above but you can get the grasp of the project really well from whole aspects of the project itself. Especially for the budget plan, you can make a good judgement of the project if you make your proposal like the draft before.  Also you can make good estimation about the time to finish the project. I’ll try describing each parts of the proposal here. I hope my explanation can be accepted well.

In the first part, you’ll see introduction, which is a must in every formal documentation. It kinds of unuseful but really, it’s not. You can make good judgement of your own project if you make this part well. See, you can get which requirement is needed and isn’t, you can also get which part should be made easily for user, you can understand well why the functionality is needed that’s why you’ll try to develop the functionality as best as you can. I believe that many or even all of you have made the introduction part before, whether it is for your assignment or anything else so I think there is no need for me to describe this part as clear as possible.

• In background, you should give good explanation about the background as to why the project wants to be made. You can take existing environment and fact around you to make this part.
• In issues, you describe existing issues which can be solved by developing the project.
• In purposes, you describe what kind of advantages which can be obtained by developing the project.
• In existing and envisioned system, you describe the existing and envisioned system of the project which you want to develop later.

In the second part, feasibility study, you’ll cover some important matters of the project like:

• Executive summary, here you can describe the important summary of which material should be displayed in the project, which user interface is good enough for the audience of the project, which programming language will be chosen to cover the requirements of the project well, which feature should be available, etc. There is no need for you to describe each points widely, you can take only the summary of each point.
• Audience impacted, here you can describe which and how audience will be impacted with the using of the application later when the project is done.
• Financial obligation, here you can describe which component of the project that needs money, how much the money needed, so reader can understand that you give the right amount of money for the project.
• Recommended action, here you can describe what action which will be taken in accordance to agreement of the proposal.
• general description of project which contains
  • Requirement project, you can describe the requirement summary of the project which wants to be developed.
  • Project border, you can describe the border of the project in order to avoid any unnecessary enhancements later when the project is being built.
  • License, you can describe the license the tools which is used when developing the project, whether it is for documentation, language programming, database server, etc, whether the license will be paid by client or by yourself or by other parts.
  • Used technology, here you describe which technology will be used in the project like programming language, database server, user interface designer, development program tools (documentation, repository, testing tools, etc).
  • Member project qualifications, here you describe what qualifications that are needed for member of the development team, including PM, developer, tester, etc.
  • Member project contract, here you describe which contract will be done for which member in which project phase. For example, you need to contract the PM for all phases available in the project, while for tester you can contract them only for the design phase and testing phase, etc.
  • Steps in making the project, here you describe which phases will be done in developing the project, and what kind of activities will be done in each phases,
  • WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), here you display WBS diagram which contains the menu structure of the application.
  • Ganchart, here you display ganchart which describes the activities happen in each phases of the development, how many days each activities need to be completed, and dependency of each activities in the project. You can make the ganchart easily using Ms.Project.
  • Project budget, here you describes the budget needed to develop the project. You should show how much the budget needed when the project meets the expected timeline and how much the budget needed when the project is delayed. This way you know better how much the estimation of your project budget.
  • Issues which cause project budget to be increased, here you describe which activities or issues that can cause the project to be delayed.

I think that’s it my share about IT project proposal. I again hope that this article can be useful for anyone who need this. And again, my explanation above is based on my previous experience when studying only, so if you want to use the proposal for formal need, you need additional resource. Of course if there is something wrong with the share, forgive me and tell me so I can fix it~

Dear Mom..

I just listen to SNSD Dear Mom a while time ago. It’s not like  I just ever heard the song at that time but, I think the timing was right and Iit happened that I listened to the song, along with English translation.

It’s not like I hate SNSD before but I never really pay attention to them as I did with Super Junior oppa so, I must admit that I really like their title album, almost all.. And their ballad songs are also really great, see: Complete, Dear Mom, How Great Is Your Love, Baby Steps (TTS), and lately Promise. I really like those ballad songs. Oh, about Dear Mom song, like I said before, I had known this song for a while ago but never really pay attention to the lyrics so I don’t get attached to this song but now, I feel like crying every time I hear this song.., Such a great song for your mom, if any of you want to listen to this song please check the live performance here.

It’s not like we don’t have any other good song about mother, but it just happened to be SNSD Dear Mom when I heard while feeling down so really..

You see, people tend to forget about how great their mom have been for all this time. Mother is the one who always takes care of us like our life is more precious than them. Mother is the one who will always support us when there is nobody behind us. Mother, ahhh really there are too many good things about mother in this world so.. just listen to the song and grasp the meaning, you’ll cry..

Stakeholder of an application

Stakeholder in a project means the parties which are included in developing a project. As we know there are many stakeholders here, like project owner, PM, analyst, developer, tester, management, etc. Each stakeholder has their own role in the project. I’ll try explaining things here. See, I try to explaining things based on my own experience, and this article also one of them. If you see anything wrong about this article, please let me know so I can fix it. Thanks before~

Okay, let me divide stakeholder of IT project like following:

1. Developer team

     As the name, developer team is the stakeholder team which build the project to be an existing application. Developer team usually consists of PM, analyst, developer, tester, and support. Not all developer team has complete member, it will depend on the scale of the project and also depend on the budget of the project. We can call the developer team as the bottom line of the stakeholder, because they will build the application using programming language and etc.

2. Bridge team

     Bridge team usually consist of consultant and a representation from organization to manage the project, This representation will have role to be the bridge between the managerial and client team. While consultant will be the bridge between client team and developer team. Bridge team will fully responsible in opening and closing project phase.

3. Client team

      Client team usually consist of PIC of client who represents the client as a whole. Client team can have more than one person to conduct the communication with developer team and bridge team.

4. Managerial team

        Managerial team consists of managerial people from developer team and from client team. These managerial people mostly will only involved in the opening and closing of the project. In the middle of developing the application, managerial team will be the one who monitor the development.

5. User team

         User team is team who will use the application in the end, also called by end user. Usually user team is involved in gathering the requirement and testing the application.

Super Junior 1st Japanese Album – Hero

Hi All dearest ELF all around the world~

안녕하세요 *bow bow*

Although it is adequately late, but.. I really want to promote our Oppa deul 1st Japanese album called Hero. Wahhh, 대박.. Finally our Oppa have  the chance to shoot the music video outside~ Such a happy time, although unfortunately Yesung-ie Oppa isn’t there with them..

It’s okay though, let’s not be sad anymore.. Super Junior Oppa has another power comeback to them, it’s Heechul-ie oppawho had been discharged from army.. I wish that our oppa have additional power to fight for their utterly tight schedule and greet us with happy and healthy smile, as always~

Let’s back to the promotional thing, this album has two CDs which is a lot. It consists of total 23 tracks, which is again, a lot.. But, unfortunately you can’t really expect much from this album because many of the songs available are the songs from their Japanese single like Sexy, Free, and Single, Superman, Bijin (Bonamana), Opera, Mr.Simple, etc. Oh well, the title song is good though, and Yesung’s oppa voice can still be heard well, who cares~

My personal recommendation from this album, of coure Hero and there is one additional solo song of Sungmin above, Ashita no Tameni.. It’s great song, Sungmin’s voice fits the song really good so you should listen to it (am i being biased or something?)

Anyway, let’s help our oppa promote this album, kay?

Although it’s good enough that the album has reached 1st Weekly Oricon chart but, it’ll be better if it can climb to yearly chart of Oricon, isn’t it? Let’s just do our best to promote this album more..

Women..

I’m ba~~~ck,

It’s been a while since I post something about my life. Well, it’s not exactly about my life, but overall, the knowledge or the experience I have. I just want to share it to all of you with hope that it can be useful~

Should begin this article with, I’m a woman, which is getting old in my opinion, get busy with work and the family surrounding me, also with my own hobby. Existing environment around me states that a career woman usually strong, they can get what they want by themselves. They are as strong as man in terms of financial, self esteem, and independence. It will seem that they can go through live by themselves. Should we say it in hard term, ‘women  doesn’t need man to live through their life?’

I hope that there isn’t anyone who get upset about my statement, ok? I just try to get the right word to describe what situations happen around me right now. I myself almost get involved in this kind of thought, thankfully not anymore. You see, women tend to think a lot about the needs in life, which is actually a good thing because by thinking the matter we need in life, we’ll try harder and get motivated better to reach what we actually really need. Unfortunately, the difference between needs and wants become unclear. As nowadays many women who have their own income spent the money in what we actually can think as ‘want’, not ‘need’. Are they really what is all in women’s brain?

What do you think about it? Really, it’s not like we can generalize that all women have similar want. But I believe that actually all women will feel similar way about things, but their surrounding, environment, condition can make them differentiate things. Is there any song specially made for women out there? Please tell me if you have one because I really want to see what kind of thought other people have about us, women..

By blabbering out above, I really want to share my thought about type of women who really get my respect, as a woman myself.

Many women nowadays choose to be career women, which is not a bad thing because I believe their ‘need’ is the biggest reason why they choose career rather than their own life. I totally respect this type of woman, they don’t want to depend on man to fulfill their ‘own’ need. Of course, not all women choose career because of their need, because many of them also need to fulfill their family needs. This type of career woman also gets my respect. I also respect women who choose to be a good housewife, which is really difficult to find. And I, of course, totally respect a housewife who has business to manage in order to get saving for her family later, which is also my biggest dream nowadays.

If you really have to ask me what kind of women who doesn’t get any respect from me, well.. Can you conclude from my blabbering?
